Truth for Teachers- Podcast
During my inquiry focused on Teacher Wellness, my mentor share with me the Truth for Teachers podcast. Angela Watson releases a podcast focused on anything and everything teacher related to get you ready for the week. You can scroll through all of the previous podcasts and find any that relate to you. They are fun to listen to when you are feeling some Sunday Blues and need a little inspiration or when you are driving to work. I highly recommend all teachers listen to the Truth for Teacher's podcast. |
Blooket
My students and I ADORE Blooket! It is a fun quiz style website that is very similar to Kahoot but way more fun in my opinion. There are lots of different pre-created sets or you can create your own based on what your students are learning. There are a variety of fun challenging games and students can collect all the cute Blooks. My favorite way to use it is quizzing students on Multiplication facts and States and Capitals. |
Nearpod
I was introduced to Nearpod at the end of last year and I think it is an excellent resource for extra support for students. There are so many different lessons and activities already created that you could choose from, or you can create your own lessons designed to meet all of your student's needs. I use this mostly during math lessons for small group support and informal assessments. I love Nearpod because you can design them to work best for you and they are super easy for students to figure out. |
